What is a favicon? Do you see the little icon (picture) that is up on your address bar when you view a webpage? It is short for "favorite icon." Go Ahead look up and see if blogger has the orange favicon at the top. I was contacted by a website owner on "how to add a icon to his officelive website?" I knew it could be done, but didn't realize how hard it actually was to do.

After researching and trying different things for nearly 6 hours, I finally completed the task of adding a favicon to my website. I used a small screen shot image of my help website for my favicon. I have now completed a help page on my website to show all of my followers and website owners how to do the exact same thing.
It will be much easier for you then me, since I did all the trial and error lol.

I would say that I can physically help place this on your website, but unfortunately I can only tell you the steps to take because of the fact that I have already applied the steps to my website and have already downloaded the certain file that is needed for my computer and website. I thought this through and figured I could place the code and everything for you but unfortunately I can't. But do not hesistate to contact me if you need my help. You can also first see if this page has enough information for you.

Wow...I never knew work could be so much fun! I was recently invited to some article writing websites... (Thanks Emma)! I had to pry myself away from the websites at 5:00am this morning.

In the past I have recieved emails about getting paid to write articles...I just figured it was a big get rich thing that really only benefited the website owners. I figured the paid article emails were similiar to the "get paid to read emails" scam.

Well good news, there is a few ligit article writing websites out there! I haven't seen any cash yet...I just applied yesterday. I have however, gained exposure to around a hundred new friends who have viewed my help website. This is worth $100 to me if not more because I got free advertisement to my help website. I have been contacted via messages that viewers want to pay me to help build their websites. This is exciting news to me because like I have stated in the past, my intentions are to help other website owners. If I get paid to help others, that is a big bonus for me!
Ok, so for all of you anxious viewers, where are these article writing websites right?

Hello everyone again....This is going to be a little more relaxed blog post!

I have been busy working away at my websites and helping website owners along the way.
I recieved an email from a very eager website owner a couple days ago! She was a fun person to help. She kept deleting her website pages everytime she messed up...She must of deleted her pages like three different times because she was trying to get her ads up and running. Finally, I realized she didn't know how to delete an image. I quickly emailed her and stated "Use the delete key on your keyboard". I didn't want her to keep deleting her website pages.....LOL.

This goes to show everyone, how anxious a person may get....She kept making more work for herself....Bless her for her hard work on trying to get her website ads up! (She has a degree in English, but not in computers)

Emma if you are reading this blog post then I apologize for the laughter....You are a very smart woman.....you just need to slow down lol!

It is great to have laughter and friends in a work environment....This is a message to all website owners who are in the process of building their websites....KEEP IT FUN! Don't get wrapped up on the....I got to do this and complete this and email this person ect.....take your time and go with the flow!
Building websites can get very stressful at times, so just relax and enjoy the work that you do!

Hello, to all viewers and friends.....this is a post from my blog updating you of my new help page.
I was recieving some emails from website owners who were having problems with their displayed search engine results. I decided to build a page called fix your website pages search results!

To be able to fix the description of your website or webpages that are displayed in search results.....you need to rename your website page titles. Search engines crawl your website to gather information to display on their search results. Remember to optimize your website with keywords, and metatags.

For officelive users, I have built a step by step instuction guide on my help website showing you how to rename your webpages with out deleting them. This will speed up the crawling of your website....it helps the search engines to see the words and descriptions via your website.

TIME IS MONEY.....THIS BLOG POST IS INTENDED TO HELP MYSELF AND OTHERS TO REMEMBER TO CALCULATE THEIR TIME THEY SPEND HELPING OTHERS!

Recently, I have been recieving loads of emails by users who need help with their website(s). This is great news....I love to help others and also I enjoy seeing other website owners helping others.

Along with the many emails requesting help, I have also recieved emails from website owners who want me to not only give free tips and advice about website building.....but they also seem to give up and just want me to do the work for them for free.....With me being as helpful as I am, I have done this a few times "free of charge"......I have spent hundreds of hours helping others!

Unfortunately, I am ready to post: I will still give free advise and tips to building a website...but I will no longer do the work for other website owners free of charge. This has made me realize that my time is money and we all need to make money. I am sure we all understand that helping others is a good thing and we all do the best that we can with the time that we have.

With this said....All viewers to this post....Please refer users who need help with their website to my help forum......(This is what the help forum was made for ) I encourage everyone to please join the discussions via this help forum!

I have been away from the website work for awhile and decided today that I need to get back into updating my readers about my websites.

Ok I have a question for dreamweaver website users: Is dreamweaver like microsoft officelive? Please keep in mind that I usually build my websites thru officelive, so I know how to add google adsense ads to officelive websites. I have however been contacted by a website owner who is using dreamweaver and is following my google adsense html placement guide.

I am not completely sure if this will work for him because I have never used dreamweaver for my websites.

I am looking for help to be able to help somebody else place google ads via their dreamweaver website. If you are aware of how to add google adsense html to dreamweaver, please share your knowledge via my help forum.

Hello again to everyone, a few posts ago, I made a sample faq page for my help website. I stated that I would let everyone know of my faq page to help others. Are you asking...What is the difference? Well let me tell you that first of all they are both pages from my help website. The Sample faq page is made to help other website owners build their faq page and my faq page is the frequently asked questions page for my viewers at helpwithyourwebsite.com.
