Choose your website niche- You need to choose a website topic that isn't too popular and a topic you know a lot about. Take a look at your competition. Choose to build a website about something not everyone knows about. Don't choose a shopping website if you are not willing to come up with a way to beat your competitors. (I know from experience.) You need to be able to write many pages on your website niche. Do your research before starting your website. Earning money with google adsense takes work. Build your content pages first- I know that everyone is very excited to start earning money with google ads, but you need to slow down and follow my helpful tips. If you already have ads up on your site, then apply this adsense tip with your next website or webpages. You should build all your content first and then apply the google adsense ads to your website. You will want your google adsense ads to relate to your website. You need to wait to place your ads up until your content (text) is inserted. Google crawls your website to determine which ads they should display on your site.
You do not want your visitors to see un-related ads because for one, they will not be interested and leave your site and two, you want visitors to return to your website. You should want your website to gain trust and popularity. For three, you want your visitors to be interested in your website and view your google ads. If there is no text to relate to your ads, google will place unrelated ads up!
Match your adsense ads to your website- Blend your ads in with your website. In your google adsense account, you need to design your ads as close to your website design as possible. You should match your colors, text and style of your ads with the same color and style of your website. So if your website is green, change your google ad links so that they are green also. When people view your website, you do not want them to know you want them to click and view someone else's website. Many people who search for and browse websites, don't want to mysteriously be directed somewhere else. If they stand out and appear different than your site, they will not feel safe to view your google ads.
Google Adsense Secret tip- Use "Text Only" Ads for your website. I have experimented with different google ads and the text only ads will help you earn more clicks and money from your website. Just think: When you view a website, do you click on image ads? I don't ever click on image ads, specially when it says "Click here". Once I see an image ad, I ignore it and I am sure many other website visitors ignore them also. Sometimes image ads are also confused with regular website images that have no links.
Which google adsense ads make more money? I have heard from many successful webmasters that insurance ads pay out a lot of money per click. This doesn't mean that you should push insurance content into your website. Your website niche needs to be something that you can write about with ease. Do not force content! I have also heard that gambling ads pay a lot per click. Unfortunately, gambling sites are not allowed when you sign up for google adsense.
