You don't want your topic to be all cars or all trucks because there is an endless supply of information on all cars and trucks. There are several websites that already have this website niche and your competition will be so high that you will never get traffic to your website. Think of an unique topic for your affiliate website.
Pet affiliate websites- Pick a rare pet and build a affiliate website around information about that pet. For example: Pet Rats. You can talk about pet rats, you can then have affiliate links from different pet stores. Make sure the affiliate stores carry items that will be discussed in your website.
Shopping affiliate websites- Pick popular stores to promote. Build a website about a certain shopping place in your area or a store that you know a lot about. Place affiliate banners on each of your website pages to direct your viewers to their website or store. You can then make money off of the sales that the store generates from your website referals. Make sure you are approved for their affiliate program.
